  1. I was talking to my cousin, Kenny Sack, last evening and he asked me to convey his sympathies as well. He remembers her playing basketball at Edie’s on Thanksgiving a few years ago. I imagine Jean would like us to remember her that way as well.

Thinking of all of you and sending prayers,
    Janice Flanary (for Kenny Sack)

  2. I am so sorry for your loss and offer words of comfort. Grief can be so hard, but our special memories can help us cope. True, remembering those times may be painful at first, but in time these memories may help you to heal rather than cause you to hurt. It is during times such as these that we can find comfort in the Lord’s Prayer at Matt. 6, specifically verses 9 & 10 which says: “Our Father in the heavens, let your name be sanctified. Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place, as in heaven, also on earth.” Only God’s Kingdom can bring peace, happiness, perfect health, and everlasting life. We can be there, along with our resurrected loved ones, to enjoy these and other promises made by our Creator. (Acts 24:15; Rev. 21:4; Psalm 37:10)

  5. Dearest Marvin (“G”,) Edie and families,

I was so sorry to hear of Jean’s passing on. “The Sack twins” were always a mainstay in St. Mary’s. Sweet girls, sweet smiles and ornery dispositions. 😉 Burly, perhaps?

I’m sorry I won’t be able to attend the funeral tomorrow but please trust all of you will be in my thoughts and prayers. You know she would want us all to carry on.

    My most sincerest sympathies,
    Janice Flanary

  17. I am so sorry for your loss. My heart aches for all of you. Knowing she is no longer in pain and is at peace is a blessing for her; although difficult for those left behind. But you know that her dad Burly, was waiting at those ‘Pearly Gates’ with open arms to welcome her home with him. Jean was a wonderful person & friend, she always had a smile on her face. She was definitely a fighter and never gave up. She was a true inspiration to all of us. Praying that all your wonderful memories you made together, will help you thru this difficult time. Thoughts and prayers are with all of you. She will be missed by many. God Bless.
