Karl F. Harmon

Emmett— Requiem Mass for Karl Francis Harmon, 22, will be at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Assumption Chapel in St. Marys.

He was the first baby born in 1996 at the Onaga Community Hospital, the son of James A. and Carol A. Matich Harmon.  Karl graduated from Manhattan High School.

Karl was a handyman and could fix or do about anything.  He loved spending time with his family and little children adored him.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Ann Marie Harmon on August 2, 2000.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; siblings, Scott, Jacob, Petre, Jon, Henry, Charlie, Hans, Amanda, Victoria and Stella.

A rosary will be recited at 5:20 P.M. Friday, March 16, 2018 at Piper Funeral Home and Karl will lie in state until 7:30 P.M.  Interment will be in Our Lady Of Peace Cemetery, St. Marys.  Memorial contributions may be made in Karl’s name and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple Street, St. Marys, Kansas 66536.  To leave online condolences please visit www.piperfuneralhome.com.

  2. Karl,I will miss you, it only seems like yesterday when I saw you.Time goes by quickly when we are having so much fun together but now it all seems like a nightmare.

  4. Karl, I didn’t get to be the big brother you needed. I hadn’t seen you since you were twelve, time and paths changed all of us. I always thought of you and prayed for you. I wish things had turned out differently. You were always smiling, laughing and making jokes. I wish i could see you one more time just to say hi, just to talk. You are missed little brother!
