  1. My husband and I had the privilege of being Sam and Pat’s Pastors for many years. They both served the Lord with all their hearts. Their ministry was to prepare communion for the congregation at Tree of Life, and this they did with all humility, reverence, and faithfulness. They gave of their time, their finances, and their prayers to help so many. I know the Lord has said to them, Well done, thou good and faithful servants.”They loved each other so much. They were always together in life and now in Heaven they are together again.

  2. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. God’s blessings to you and your families.

  3. Thinking of all of you at this very difficult time. I remember so many things about Patty. She was living with mom and dad when Tammy was born and we would all race to comfort the crying baby. Patty came to visit us in Jacksonville with Tammy, Sherrie, Holly & Tate. We had such a good time, although quite busy. She will be missed by many. Rest in peace Patty.

  6. My Mother has and always will be my Strength, Confidant, Anchor, Advisor and Very Best Friend in everything I have done or will do. She and my Father, Samuel Essman, instilled every virtue for God, life and respect for people (no matter what) that I will always follow. I thank God everyday that I had parents that weren’t perfect and didn’t expect me to be anything but my best.

  7. Our thoughts and prayers have been with our family. Grandma will be missed very much by all. Sending our love from the East Coast.

  11. I worked with Pat 30 yrs of her 32 yrs @ ASOT. After Sam passed away,
she & I started going to lunch everyday and had gotten extremely close. She was always glad for my positives and the first to try to say when she didn’t agree with something.
I considered Pat one of my closest confidants. Being that I am only a couple months older than her oldest daughter Tammy, most of the time,
I felt like she was my second mother. I will never forgot our friendship that we had, I loved her so much. My condolences to Crystal and all her family.

  12. To all of Pat’s family…..I worked with Pat for many years and we shared a lot of good times and some not so good, but through it all, we shared our faith in Jesus and The Word. I remember having wonderful exchanges about God and uplifting each other when we needed it. She was a beautiful spirit, so kind, gentle and compassionate and I will always treasure the time that we had together. I know that she is with Jesus now and that she was a good and faithful servant. God bless each and every one of you and may the Peace of Jesus Christ surround you in the days ahead.

  15. I spent 9 years of my life with Pat each day. She became more than just a person I worked with. She always gave me sage advice and helped lead me back to our Lord, by just being Pat, a true believer. I can never thank her enough because I know what she gave me. To Crystal and her entire family, my heart goes out to you all, may God bless you and provide peace during this time. Jalna

  16. I never had the opportunity to meet Pat in person. But I feel like I had. Her and I spoke on the phone almost on a daily basis from 2007 until her retirement from Assurance Specialists of Texas. We got to know each other over the years and she was a very nice, kind, funny & get the job done kinda gal. She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with her family.
