St-Marys—Scott D. Ellis, 55, died Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka.

Scott was born June 4, 1961 at Wamego the son of Ronald K. “Ronnie” and Paulie Straub Ellis.  He attended St. Marys Schools.

Scott was a concrete finisher and had worked several years at the St. Marys Golf Course.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Scott is survived by his brother, Todd Ellis, St. Marys, and several cousins including Steve Ellis, Delia.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 3, 2017 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys.  Inurnment will be in Valley View Cemetery, St. Marys.  Memorial contributions may be made in Scott’s name and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
