Timothy Miller

Rossville—Timothy Lloyd Miller, 56, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home in Rossville.

He was born January 5, 1962 at Topeka, Kansas the son of Lloyd and Teresa Bixby Miller.  Tim attended The Capper Foundation School and Delia Schools.  He was a member of the Delia Presbyterian Church.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd Miller on December 24, 2008, and a great-nephew, Monte Bleakley.

Survivors include his mother, Teresa Miller of the home; three sisters, Terri Myers Malcom, Callaway, NE., Dora (Robert) Reynolds, Delia, and Debe (Rusty) Greene, Topeka/Hiwasse, AR; aunts, Ivaleu Miller, Delia, Patricia Bixby, and Genevieve Jenssen both of Rossville and Betty Cummings, St. Marys; 9 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys.  Interment will be in the Delia Cemetery.  Tim will lie in state after 2:00 and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 P.M. Wednesday, at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson Cancer Research Center at KSU.   and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, KS. 66536.

  1. Words can not exspress how i felt when i just now heard of this loss! I am so sry i didn’t know sooner for i would have been by his side wile resting.
    My heart goes out to Mrs. Miller and all his family. I will NEVER forget his smile & his laugh was always one in a million.
    I enjoyed being part of his life especially when i cared for him.
    He will truly be missed but he’s with God now and especially hos dad whom he’s missed dearly!

    I’m sure all of Delia is grieving the loss of Timmy. His smile was known by so many! Even tho I haven’t seen him or your family for some time, I will always remember how loved he was by his family, and the community!

  4. Teresa, Terri, Dora Lea, Debe and Robert – As far back as my memory goes, I remember Tim. He liked to sit by me and hold my hair, just a small strand in his hand. May God hold you in the palm of His hand until you meet again.

  8. I remember Timmy fondly while growing up in Delia. There would be times my mom and others would go to Lloyd and Teresa’s home and help exercise him. He was a sweet person and always was glad to see people he knew. God Bless the family and know you are in my thoughts and prayers.
