Tricia Clark

Assured that she was loved on earth, Tricia peacefully answered the call home and died September 16, 2013 at Midland Hospice in Topeka,Kansas. Tricia was born November 1, 1966, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of John and Agnes Martin. She grew up with her six siblings in the Emmett area, graduating from St. Marys High School with the Class of 1985. Tricia worked for over 23 years for Custom Woods, first in the shop and later on the sales floor. Tricia had a gift for helping customers select colors and textures for their homes. She believed in hard work and always gave her best. As a proud mother, Tricia had three children, Morgan, Justin and Drew. With them, she found joy in the ordinary, swimming at the watershed, playing outside, working in the yard, and attending their events. Her greatest joy was being Grandma to Jakob, Ryleigh, and Skyler. She always had time for the kids, and welcomed laughter and snuggles. She is survived by Chris Williams, of the home, with whom she celebrated family, cheered for the Royals, worked on projects in the home and garden, and played in the sun. Her three children, Morgan Debacker, Justin (Andrea) Clark and Drew Clark and three grandchildren, Jakob, Ryleigh and Skyler also survive. Other survivors include her parents, John and Agnes Martin; her brother, Russ (Pam) Martin; five sisters, Jane (Tony) Bernardel, Joan (Brandon) Magette, Lori Martin, Donna (Andy) Perry and Jennifer Martin along with many nieces and nephews. Tricia was preceded in death by two nephews, Jared Cheek and Tate Bernardel. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys and attended Most Pure Heart of Mary in Topeka. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Inurnment will be in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M.Thursday, September 19, 2013 where there will be a rosary recited at 7:00 P.M.
