St. Marys, KS – February 27, 2025 – David Pryor, Managing Funeral Director at Piper Funeral Home, has been selected to participate in the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) 2025 Meet the Mentors program. This prestigious program connects emerging funeral service professionals with experienced mentors to foster professional growth and development.

Pryor was chosen from a competitive pool of applicants nationwide to participate in this year's program, and was the only funeral director selected from Kansas. The Meet the Mentors program provides a unique opportunity for participants to learn from industry leaders, gain valuable insights into best practices, and build lasting professional relationships. The NFDA Meet the Mentors program is designed to support the next generation of funeral service professionals. Participants engage in interactive sessions, attend educational workshops, and network with mentors who are dedicated to sharing their expertise and guidance. Pryor will participate in the Meet the Mentors program in Washington, D.C., from April 8-10.
