Allen Sweden

Paxico-Allen R. Sweden, 75, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka. He was born October 5, 1939 at New Orleans, LA., the son of Thomas Riley and Nona Louise Cooley Sweden. Allen served in the United States Air Force. Mr. Sweden was a truck driver. He had lived in Louisiana and Mississippi for many years until moving to Kansas five years ago. He was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Maple Hill. He was preceded in death by a son Nolan in 1978. Survivors include his wife Virginia of the home; a son, Jeremiah Allen Sweden; two daughters, Virginia Carol Craft and Theresa Louise Boyd; a brother, Milton O. Wheeler; a sister, Carol Ann Martens; 4 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Requiem Mass will be at 8:00 A.M. Saturday, December 13, 2014 at St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Maple Hill. A rosary will be recited at the church Friday, December 12, 2014 at 7:00 P.M. Interment with Military Honors will be at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Newbury.
