Arnold R. Gleason

Arnold Robert Gleason, a professional truck driver, passed away at a Holton nursing home on the 26th of June 2023. He was born on March 28th, 1947 in Keene, Kansas to Robert and Evelyn Gleason.

Arnold dedicated his career to over-the-road truck driving and he was employed by Francis Wholesale till his retirement in 2010. Arnold’s family includes two sisters, Bonnie (Bob) Deinlein of Holton and Coila (Donald) Rush of Eskridge, two nieces, three nephews, and several greats. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert & Evelyn, a brother Everett and a sister Elizabeth.

A graveside memorial service will be held at Valley View Cemetery on July 5th, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. Piper Funeral Home is conducting the arrangements and any memorial contributions may be made to Donor’s Choice. Arnold will be remembered for his contribution to the trucking industry.
