Billie Jean Crow

Billie Jean Crow, 85, passed away late Friday, May 26, 2023.

She was born June 16, 1937, in Carbondale, the daughter of Marion A. and Florence Marie (nee Remington) Waetzig.  Billie was raised in the Carbondale community and graduated from Carbondale High School.  She attended Clark's School of Business in Topeka.  Billie lived in the Carbondale and Topeka area most of her life.

Billie had worked at Forbes Air Force Base, Essex Wire, and retired from the State of Kansas.

On December 30, 1983, Billie and Calvin D. Crow were united in marriage.  He died January 7, 1998.  Billie was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Gary Dean, and her daughter Beth Ann Boudreau.

Billie is survived by her daughter, Frances Jean Boudreau, Topeka, and her sister, Wanda Bilsing, Lawrence,

Billie's wishes were to be cremated.  Private inurnment will be in the Carbondale Cemetery at a later date.  Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple Street, St. Marys, Kansas is in charge of arrangements.  Memorial contributions may be made in Billie's name to be designated at a later date and sent in care of the funeral home.
