St. Marys-Christopher Michael Gross passed away Saturday, July 27th, 2019 at his home in St. Marys, Kansas He was born March 26, 1979 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was adopted by his loving parents Ronald and Jane Gross. He grew up in Maiden Rock, Wisconsin. He came to St. Marys to attend St. Marys Academy and went on to attend St. Marys College. After a year in St. Thomas Aquinas seminary, he settled in Boston, Massachusetts. Christopher was united in marriage to Katrina (nee' Kaiser) Gross in 2007. In 2009 Chris and Katie relocated back to St Marys. He worked for The Onyx Collection in Belvue, Kansas. Chris was a longtime member of Assumption Chapel, and a Benedictine Oblate. Chris is survived by his loving wife Katie, his two sons, Lucian & Edmund and four daughters, Aurelia, Zoe, Genevieve, and Beatrice. Other survivors include his parents, Ronald and Jane Gross, his sister, Marion (Charles) Lesage, and brother, Joseph (Jeannette) Gross; his father and mother-in-law, Robert and Marianne Kaiser; six brothers-in-law; Robert Kaiser, Joseph (Michelle) Kaiser, Richard Kaiser, Adam Kaiser, Matthew (Catherine) Kaiser; and five sisters -in-law; Marguerite Kaiser, MaryClare (Rafael) Ramos, John Kaiser, Stephanie Kaiser, Therese Kaiser, Jacqueline Kaiser, and many nieces and nephews. Chris will always be remembered as a devout Catholic and a most loving and faithful husband. He was a dedicated father, a brother to many, and a loyal friend. A Requiem High Mass will be said at 8:30 A.M. on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Ignatius Hall. Interment will be held in Our Lady Of Peace Cemetery, St. Marys. A rosary will be recited at 5:20 P.M. Friday, August 2nd, 2019 at Assumption Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made in Christopher's name with checks made payable to Katie Gross.
