Dolores Floersch

Dolores M. Floersch, 88, passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at St. Francis Hospital in Topeka. She was born August 27, 1928 at St. Marys, one of 13 children of the late John and Mary Brunin Dohrman. Dolores was employed by USD No. 321 at the Delia Schools many years. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville and had been a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Delia before it closed. She had lived in the Delia and Rossville communities many years. Dolores was united in marriage to Joseph C. Floersch in 1956 at St. Marys. He preceded her in death on August 13, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Crow on March 31, 2015 and her son, John Floersch on April 25, 2015. Dolores was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill, Ray, Jack, Paul and Leo; her sisters, Sally, Mary, Veronica, Monica, Catherine, Germaine and Margaret. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy (Bob) Olejnik, Rossville grandchildren, Kasey (Kim), Neil (Adrienne), Dane (Kenzie), Kelsey, Makayla, Emmy (Jason) and Austin; 7 great-grandchildren. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Rossville. Inurnment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday, April 28, 2017 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys where there will be a rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to Juvenile Diabetes or the Rossville Library and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple St., St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
