Edward Lester

Edward C. Lester passed away, Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at his home in St. Marys. He was born at San Francisco, CA, the son of Edward Mills and Marguerite Codis Lester. He had lived many years in California before moving to St. Marys. He was married to Helen C. McCabe on April 20, 1963 at Park Ridge IL. She preceded him in death on March 11, 2014. Survivors include three sons, Thomas (Anne Burnham), Matthias (Sherri) and Tobias (Laura) Lester; three daughters, Sister Mary Alphonsus, Serra (David) Melechinsky and Mary Lee Lester; 7 grandchildren Requiem Mass will be at 7:00 A.M. Friday, January 16, 2015 at Assumption Chapel in St. Marys. A Rosary will be recited at 5:20 P.M. Thursday at the church. Interment will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
