Elaine Perry

Elaine Helen Perry passed away at home surrounded by her family on February 15, 2016, following a short battle with cancer. She was born to Thomas and Margaret Terokowskie at home in Hazel Park, MI, on December 22, 1940. She was preceded in death by her husband Milton L. Perry and brother, Gordon J. Terokowskie, and three grandchildren. Elaine married Milton on April 23, 1960, at St. Mary Magdalen in Hazel Park, MI. She is remembered by her nine children: Deanna (Joseph) Gaumer, Steven (Christina) Perry, Keith (Ann) Perry, Christopher Perry, Matthew (Janelle) Perry, Mark (Dannielle) Perry, Maria Perry, Joseph (Nichole) Perry, Gregory (Jennifer) Perry, and 31 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Her children and grandchildren remember her genuine laugh, warm hugs, dirty hands from the garden, and her garage sale treasures. Elaine led her life by example with compassion and humility as a lifetime member of the Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. John Mary Vianney School. The visitation and rosary will be held at St. John Mary Vianney Church located at 14611B Waterman Crossing Rd, Maple Hill, KS, 66507 on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at 6:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be held at the same location Thursday morning, February 18, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. Immediately following, she will be laid to rest next to her husband at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in St. Marys. Reception will be held at St. Marys Academy in the Auditorium following the burial. http://www.fsspmaplehill.com/
