Enid M. Williams, aged 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at a Topeka Hospital.
Born on July 24, 1937, in Buffalo, New York, she was the daughter of Lloyd and Corona DeKehoe Sauberan. Enid achieved a master's degree in Education and dedicated herself to teaching 42 years the last 22 years were in various SSPX Catholic schools. She relocated to St. Marys several years ago.
Enid enjoyed tent camping and with her children visited many National Parks and mountain areas. Later, her grandchildren joined her spending many weeks camping at favorite campsites and exploring mountains in Colorado.
Enid also visited many sites of Natural beauty in the Southeastern United States with her sons and became familiar with petroglyphs or the "Rock Art” of the Pueblo People.
Enid was preceded in death by her husband, Carl R. Berg, and three sisters, Elaine, Rita, and JoAnn
Survivors include her children: Carl Berg Jr., Bethann Barnes, Patty Berg, Kathleen Berg, Susan Berg, Andy Berg, and Mike Berg; a brother, Lloyd Sauneran; 12 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
Requiem Mass will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the Immaculata Catholic Church in St. Marys. Burial will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery. A rosary will be recited at 5:20 P.M. Monday, November 20, 2023 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Immaculata Church and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home.
