Frances Brunin

St. Marys-Frances Brunin died Monday, March 17, 2014 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.

She grew up in South Dakota and lived there many years before moving to Wamego. Frances later moved to St. Marys. She lived with Marge and Ray Fairchild for over 20 years and they were her caregivers until her death.

She was married to Charles Dahl. To this union three sons were born, Charles, George and Dewey. They later divorced. On April 13, 1978 she was united in marriage to William F. Brunin. He died February 23, 1995.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, St. Marys. Mrs. Brunin will lie in state after 5:00 P.M. Friday, March 21, 2014 and a rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys.
