Henrietta Aubert

St. Marys - Henrietta Theresa (Hesse) Aubert, 91, died Monday, December 21, 2020, at the Community Hospital Onaga.

She was born February 24, 1929, on a farm near Paxico, the daughter of John L. & Adelaide M. (Flach) Hesse.  She lived in the St. Marys community her entire married life.

Henrietta grew up in the Newbury/Paxico community and graduated from Paxico High School.  She was a wife, mother of 13 & homemaker.   She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church & the Altar Society in St. Marys.  Henrietta was a member of TOPS, Extension Home Makers Unit & on the board of the Senior Center, St. Marys.

On April 12, 1948, she was united in marriage to James M. Aubert at Sacred Heart Church Newbury.  Henrietta was preceded in death by her husband James, a son Charles A., three grandsons & a great-granddaughter.  She was also preceded in death by a sister Loubelle Heiman.

Survivors include her children, Clyde (Marlene) Aubert, Marvin (Betty) Aubert, Fred (Ann) Aubert, Alice (Jerry) Bertels all of St. Marys, Karen (Tom) Johnson & John (Anita) Aubert all of Emmett, Mary Jane (Don) Akin & Charles deceased (Jackie) all of Silver Lake, Mary Jean (Dennis) Kuehler, St. George, Louise Schutter, Emporia, Phyllis (Joe) Denny, Havensville, Delores (Karl) Sauvage, Onaga, Lucille (Ron) Hines, O'Fallon, MO.; 37 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild & many step-great-grandchildren.  Also, survivors include sisters Leola Kolde, Martha DeWilde, Margaret Zeller, Carolyn Wurtz & a brother John Hesse. Henrietta was a loving Godmother to a host of nieces & nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial and rosary for Henrietta T. Aubert will be private.  Mrs. Aubert will lie in state from 1:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Monday, December 28, 2020, at Piper Funeral Home.  Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
