Jim D. Wilson, 84, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022, at the Midland Hospice House in Topeka.
He was born February 14, 1937, in Eskridge, the son of Clarence and Eunice Shaw Wilson. Jim graduated from Eskridge High School in 1956.
Jim worked as a sub-contractor for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and raised Limousine and Angus cattle. He was a member of the Paxico/McFarland United Methodist Church.
Jim married Judy Anderson on October 12, 1968. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his daughter, Jill (David) Dupler of Manhattan and granddaughter, Paige also of Manhattan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister, Margaret, and his brother Bill.
Graveside funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Bethlehem Cemetery on Snokomo Road, near Paxico. Jim will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Friday, January 28, 2022, at Piper Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Paxico/McFarland United Methodist Church and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home, 714 Maple Street, St. Marys, Kansas 66536.
