Joseph Michael Gambino

Joseph Michael Gambino, 72, passed away May 25, 2023, at his home in St. Marys, Kansas.  He was a member of the Immaculata.

Mr. Gambino was born May 18, 1951, in Niagara Falls, NY, the son of Charles and Frances Infantino Gambino.  At the age of 11, his family moved to Las Vegas, NV.  He worked for the Las Vegas Police Department for many years.  He later moved to Minnesota, and then Kansas to be near a Traditional Catholic chapel.  Joseph's greater love and work of life was being a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Nichols) Gambino, parents,  and a brother, Charles Gambino Jr.

Joseph and Joyce (Dernovsek) met in St. Marys and were married at Our Lady of Victory Church in Las Vegas, NV on May 13, 2006.  She survives at their home.  Other survivors include a son, Joseph Jr.;  a daughter, AnneMarie;  his two brothers, Ralph and Michael;   one granddaughter, Aubreanna, as well as nephews and a nieces.

Requiem Mass will be 7:15 A.M. Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at the Immaculata.  Interment will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.  A Rosary will be recited at 5:20 P.M. Monday, May 29, 2023, at the Immaculata Church.
