Joseph Meyer

Topeka-Joseph A. Meyer, 64 formerly of St. Marys passed away Friday, September 22, 2017, at his home. He was born July 11, 1953, in Topeka the son of Robert A. and Josephine F. Becker Meyer. Joe had lived in St. Marys many years and attended St. Marys schools. He moved to Equi-Venture Farms in Topeka 12 years ago. Joe was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Joe was an avid bowler. He was preceded in death by his parents and by his twin brother Jimmy. Survivors include his guardians, Dave Imming and Margie and Jim Reuter; his brothers (roommates) Ed, Shawn, Tony and John; his caregivers, Bonnie "Chickenhead", Dalton Carr, Jason Thomas, John Holloway, Rozanne and Reggie Greco, Paula Johnson and Lori Mady; the rest of the staff at Equi-Venture Farms; the residents (his family) and many cousins. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A, M. Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Marys. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery St. Marys.
