Joseph Shoulders

Joseph Michael Shoulders, 27, passed away Thursday. June 10, 2021, at a Topeka Hospital.

He was born December 13, 1993, in Portland, OR., the son of Warren Thomas “Joe” Shoulders and Rosanna Celeste Remsen Shoulders.  He had lived in Vancouver, Texas, and Molalla, OR.

Joe was an industrial electrician and was employed by KG Moates and Sons in St. Marys.  Joe was a member of Assumption Chapel.

On August 11, 2018, Joseph Michael Shoulders and Mary Elizabeth O’Leary were united in marriage in Veneta, OR.  They lived in Oregon and moved to the St. Marys community several years ago.  Liz survives at their home in Wamego.

Other survivors include his daughter, Erin Elizabeth, of the home.  His mother, Rosanna Shoulders; his father, Warren Thomas “Joe” Shoulders; siblings, KaitlynRae (Jacob) Zach, Samantha Marie (Cody) Fawcett, Chase Alexandra Shoulders, and Nicholas Aaron Shoulders

Requiem Mass will be at 7:15 A.M. Friday, June 18, 2021, at Assumption Chapel.

Interment is in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.  A rosary will be prayed Thursday, June 17th at 5:20 P.M. in the chapel.  Memorial contributions may be made to Joseph Michael Shoulders with the check payable to Liz Shoulders.
