Julie Diane Jurgens, a beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, and wife, passed away on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 53 years old.
 
Julie was born on September 18, 1969, in Yates Center, KS, to John Lundblade and Jackie Barnes. She graduated from St. Mary's high school in 1988. Julie had fond memories of her career as a patient care specialist and surgical technician which allowed her to work for Dr. Payne of Topeka, KS, for several years.
 
In 2002, Julie married Richard Jurgens. They spent 21 wonderful years together. Julie was incredibly giving and selfless. She enjoyed caring for every person that she came into contact with. An example of this care included home health work which was her passion.
 
Another passion of Julie's was caring for animals. The family always had several pets in the home, primarily dachshunds which she loved. She also had a deep love for horses, including her very own horse April.
 
The love that she showed her friends and family was unmatched and will never be forgotten. Her proudest accomplishment was and will forever be her children. Julie will always be remembered as a kind-hearted, compassionate, and loving person. Her family and friends will miss her deeply.

Son, Aubry (Allison) Jarvis of Lincoln, NE and their daughter Mallory;
Daughter, Chelsea Mullinix of Topeka, KS;
Son, Garhett Jurgens of Mammoth Lake, CA;
Daughter, Chelsea (Kevin) Osborne of New Castle, CO;
Brother, Joe (Amy) Oswalt of Burr, NE;
Brother, Scott (Suzie) Lundblade of St. Joe, MO;
Brother, Paul (Debbie) Ferguson of MO;
Sister, Candi (Pat) Porter of St. Paul, KS;
Brother, Rodney Acker of St. Mary's, KS;
Sister, Crystal Stevens of Eudora, KS;
Sister, Lacy Acker of Silver Lake, KS;
Sister, Tammy Acker of Topeka, KS;
Grandson, Kadin Stevens;
Along with numerous nieces and nephews.
 
A visitation service will be held at Piper Funeral Home in St. Mary's, KS from 5-7 P.M. on Friday, June 30, 2023.
 
A memorial service will be held at Piper Funeral Home in St. Mary's, KS at 10 A.M on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
