Justin James Stach passed away on June 10, 2024, at his home in Manhattan, KS.
Born on July 7, 1980, in Kansas City, MO, to Robert E. and Jill L. Stach (Raitt), Justin's love for sports started at a young age and continued to be a part of his life throughout the years. A proud graduate of Raymore Peculiar High School, he also spent a few semesters at K-State University fueling his passion for collegiate sports.
Justin was not just a fan; he was an enthusiast! He was known as "The Legend of Aggieville" for his unwavering support and dedication to all things K-State, especially football and more recently K-State Women's Basketball. His infectious personality meant he never knew a stranger.
One memory that truly encapsulates Justin's spirit is captured in a photo from a football game in the rain. It showed him alone in the stands after everyone else had left. "You never leave a game early," he would say with conviction.
Justin was predeceased by his father, Robert.
He is survived by his loving mother Jill Oldfield, his brothers Ryan Stach (Jessica) and Chris Stach, his grandmother Arlis Stach (she was the most important person in his life), his step-father Stephen Oldfield, step-mother Marilyn Stach, step-siblings Kim Burman, Michelle Perkins, Kelly Gebauer, niece Arlis Stach, nephews Kris Stach and Elija Stach along with eight cousins and many friends.
A graveside service to celebrate Justin's life will take place on June 14, 2024, beginning at 12:00 PM at Czech-Moravian Cemetery in Rossville, KS. Memorial contributions in Justin's memory may be made to the Czech Moravian Cemetery and sent in care of Piper Funeral Home.
To the man who never shied away from hard work or showing up for those he cared about - your memory will forever remain in our hearts. May you rest in peace surrounded by the echoes of cheering fans and the spirit of camaraderie you brought to all whose lives you touched.
