Marie Agnes Fisher

Marie Agnes Fisher born May 10, 1920, in Easton, MO., the daughter of John and Amelia (Knieb) Fisher and passed away peacefully on December 20, 2023, in St. Marys, KS. 

Miss Fisher was raised in Easton and relocated to St. Joseph, MO., where she lived for many years, before settling in St. Marys to be closer to family.  She was a seamstress.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers Wilfred and Henry; and sisters Cecilia, Luella, Annalee, Regina, Teresa and Lorene.   Although Marie has passed on, her memory will be forever cherished by her surviving twenty nieces and nephews; grand and great grand nieces and nephews, and other family.

Requiem Mass will be at 9:00 A.M. Friday, December 29, 2023, at the Immaculata Church in St. Marys.  Burial will be in the St. Joseph Church Cemetery, Easton at 1:30 P.M. Miss Fisher will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Piper Funeral Home.  A rosary will be recited at 5:20 P.M. Thursday at the church.  In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made for masses.
