Marvalie Foresman

Topeka- Marvalie I. "Marv" Foresman, 49, passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.

She was born on February 21, 1964 at Belleville, the daughter of Garald and Nadine Tibbs Brown. Marv graduated from Belleville High School with the class of 1982.

Mrs. Foresman worked for USD 501 in Topeka for many years. She was a past board member and volunteer for Ballet Midwest of Topeka and served as both a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader. Marv was a past member of the PTO and had served as president.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

On April 21, 1984 she was united in marriage to William Foresman. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her son, Brett Foresman, Topeka; her daughter, Bretta Foresman of the home; along with Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M.Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at WalnutHillCemetery near Grove. Marv will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.Monday, October 7, 2013 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys.
