Mary Saunders

Mary Ella (McLean) Saunders passed away on November 3, 2019 in Topeka.  She was born on April 23, 1943, in New Berlin, NY, the daughter of Lyle and Minnie Belle (Potter) McLean.

Mary was very active with Oneonta Yankees Baseball and bowling.  She loved traveling and listening to both gospel and country music.  Mary attended Grief Share, Harvesters, and Topeka Bible Church.  She loved her cats and Buddy (her rescue dog).

Mary married Donald Saunders of Garritsville, NY.  He preceeded her in death on March 11, 2013.  She was also predeceased by two sisters: Laura Keesler Albaugh and Elizabeth McLean.

Survivors include her three sons; Scott, David, and Jonathan Saunders; a daughter, Jacqueline Little; a brother, David (Sharon) McLean, of Burlington Flats, NY; sisters, Judy (Raymond) Vibbard, of Dimock, PA, Rita (Michael) Andrews, of Oneonta, NY, and Cindy Greer, of Burlington Flats, NY; five grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Mary was cremated and no services are planned.
