Michael Prue

Onaga-Michael A. Prue, 61, formerly of Wamego died Thursday, June 28, 2018 at the Onaga Health & Rehab Center. He was born February 6, 1957 in Topeka, the son of Richard D. and Viola Spetter Prue. Michael grew up in the Wells Creek community and graduated from Paxico High School. He had lived in Salina many years where he worked for Salina Steel. He lived several years in Wamego before moving to Onaga. Michael was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, David and Donald Prue and a sister, Carolyn Gray. He was united in marriage to Gail Leis on April 23, 1993. They later divorced. To this union two children were born, Michael and Abigail. They both survive in Tulsa, OK. Other survivors include a brother, Richard (Catherine) Prue, Topeka; a sister, Kathleen (Myron) Hurla, Paxico. Family inurnment graveside services will be at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery at Newbury. Memorial contributions may be made to the Michael A.
