Mildred Winona (Barnett) Perrin, 100, passed away Friday, March 15, 2024, at Midland Care Hospice House in Topeka.
She was born in Half Rock, MO on April 9, 1923, to George and Zana (Yates) Barnett. The family moved to Trenton, MO when she was four years old. Mildred attended Trenton schools and graduated from Trenton High School in 1941.
Mildred married Elmer D. Perrin in 1941. They became the parents of two sons, E. Darrell Perrin, Jr. and William R. Perrin. The family moved to Leavenworth, KS in 1954. She was a long time member of Wallula Christian Church.
Mildred is survived by her son, E. Darrell (Loretta) Perrin, Jr., granddaughter, Terri (Randy) Darling, great-grandchildren, Cody and Rachel Darling, nephew, Nolan (Ann) Lickey, and niece, Beth Lackey.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her youngest son, William R. Perrin, her sister and brother-in-law, Juanita and Edwin Lackey, and nephew, Mark Lickey.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Trenton, MO.
