Miriam Carroll

St. Marys-Miriam L. Carroll, 84, passed away Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the University of Kansas St. Francis Campus in Topeka. She was born on October 12, 1934 at Philadelphia, PA. the daughter of Nicholas J. Sr. and Margaret Carney Carroll. Miss Carroll was a teacher and later a nurse's aide. She was a member of Saint Joseph's Mission at Emmett, she was a Dominican Tertiary member. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Margaret Mary Carroll; two brothers, Nicholas J. Carroll Jr., and Richard C. Carroll. Survivors include two sisters, Joan Eliason and Ruth Carroll; nieces and nephews. Requiem Mass will be at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, February 7, 2019 at Saint Joseph's Mission, 100 Highway 63, Emmett. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Emmett. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys.
