Patricia Havenstein

Lawrence-Patricia R. Havenstein, 79, passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at the Midland Hospice House. She was born October 27, 1938 at Anaheim, CA, and was the daughter of Joseph and Rita Capurro. She grew up in San Diego and graduated from high school there. Patricia attended Washburn University. Patricia worked for One Gas. She and her husband Keith had lived in California, Topeka and St. Marys. After their retirement, they traveled for 11 years before moving to Lawrence in 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Michael Capurro. On July 2, 1960 she was united in marriage to Keith C. Havenstein in Las Vegas, NV. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her daughter, Dawn (Rick) Fiedler, Lawrence; her son, Keith Michael (Rebecca) Havenstein, Lake Forrest, WA; a sister, Sandra Ferguson, Phoenix, AZ; 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Piper Funeral Home in St. Marys, KS. Inurnment will be in the Alma Cemetery, Alma, Kansas.
