Patrick V. Von Radesky, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully at his home on January 4, 2025, at the age of 83. Born on March 8, 1941, in Long Beach, California, Patrick lived a life rich in experience and dedication to his family and career.
A multifaceted professional, Patrick had an extensive career that spanned many different work experiences. He was the proud owner of a men’s clothing store on Marco Island, where he developed strong relationships with his customers and community. His talents also extended to the hotel industry, where he excelled in sales and marketing, as well as event planning, showcasing his creativity and exceptional organizational skills.
Patrick served his country honorably in the Air Force for two years, a period he remembered with pride. His military service shaped many of his values, including discipline, commitment, and a deep sense of responsibility towards others.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Anne Von Radesky, who was his partner and confidante throughout their journey together. Patrick cherished his role as a father to his daughters, Jessica Von Radesky, Nicole Ludemann, and Rosie (Justin) Muzzy, and son, Michael (Dana) Chandler. His legacy continues through his nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, each of whom brought him immense joy and pride.
Patrick is also survived by his brothers, Charles (Carol) Von Radesky and Edward (Susie) Von Radesky. He was predeceased by his parents Horace and Genevieve Von Radesky, and his son-in-law, Matthew Ludemann.
Patrick V. Von Radesky will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, and the love he shared with those around him. His spirit and impact on the lives of his family and friends will endure in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know him.
A rosary will be recited at 5:20 PM on Monday, January 13 at The Immaculata Church, 701 N. 2nd St. in St. Marys. A requiem mass will be offered at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 14, also at The Immaculata. Burial will follow in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery.
