On Sunday, September 3rd, Rob was doing the two things that he loved the most in life: riding his motorcycle and enjoying the mountains. A terrible accident occurred, and he passed away early Monday, September 4th, 2017. Robert Dale "Rob" George was born July 16th, 1982 at Topeka, the son of Ronald and Darlene George. He grew up on a farm near Dover Kansas and attended Dover elementary and Jr High, and Mission Valley High School, class of 2000. He attended Cloud County Community College where he competed at a national level in Cross Country and was an Academic All American. He graduated from Kansas State University in 2005 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. For a short time, Rob was employed by Blecha Construction in Manhattan. He then moved to Denver Colorado. He was employed by Accu-Precision for 9 years where he was a weekend supervisor and acted as interim shop manager. Rob is survived by his parents Ron and Darlene, his brother, Ryan, sister-in-law, Amber, niece and nephews Alexis, Harper, and Nolan, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. There will be a Celebration of Life for his friends in Denver on Wednesday, September 6th, from 6-8 pm at the clubhouse at 4-mile village. 540 S Forest St. Denver, CO. 80246. Local Celebration of Life services will at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 13, 2017, at the Dover Federated Church. Private inurnment will be at a later date. There will be a family visitation at the Church Fellowship Hall on Tuesday, September 12, 2017, from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M.
