Ron Jacenko

Ron Edward Jacenko, 64, Topeka, passed away Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka.

He was born the son of Frank and Elizabeth Jacenko on April 13, 1957, in Denver CO.  He grew up on a farm near Minneapolis.  Ron served in the United States Army.

Ron had lived in El Paso, TX, and Post Falls, ID before moving to Kansas.  He was a machinist and had last worked in the oil industry.

Ron was married to Anne Corrigan July 13, 1985 at El Paso, TX.  She survives.

Other survivors include his children; Joseph (Paola) Jacenko, St. Marys; John (Becky) Jacenko, Wamego; Veronica Wallmeyer, St. Marys; Kristine (Patrick) Byrne, St. Marys; Dominic Jacenko, St. Marys; Mary Jacenko, Manhattan; Rachel Jacenko, Paxico; Annie Jacenko, Paxico; Theresa Jacenko, Paxico; Damien Jacenko, Paxico; Tanya Jacenko, and Delinda Jacenko; Stepson, Kevin Corrigan, Paxico; 15 grandchildren and a sister, Maria Jacenko.

Requiem mass will be at 7:15 A.M. Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at Assumption Chapel in St. Marys.  Interment will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, St. Marys.  A rosary will be recited at 5:20 P.M. Monday, at the church.
