Sheri Bryant, born on September 11, 1955, in Curtis, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2024, in St. Marys, Kansas. She was a remarkable individual whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many.

With a successful career in the hospitality and sales industries, Sheri found her last position as a card dealer at a local casino, where her charisma and engaging personality brought joy to those around her. Known for her great sense of humor, she had an unparalleled ability to make others laugh, and her laughter was often infectious. Sheri cherished her time spent with her children and grandchildren, finding great joy in family gatherings that were often filled with love and laughter. A devoted fan of Nebraska football, she passionately supported her team, sharing her enthusiasm with family and friends alike.

Sheri was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Virginia Russell, and her son, Joshua Bryant. She is survived by her loving husband, John Hladky; her sons, Jeremy (Stephanie Williams) Bryant, Jeff (Amy) Bryant, and Jace (Rebecca) Bryant; her step-son, Shawn Hladky; her step-daughter, Suzanne (Chris) Mapes; her sister, Becky (Scott) Mercer; her brother, Dennis (Kay) Russell; her former husband, James Bryant; and her grandchildren: Meridia, Jakob, Caelum, Lilian, Joshua, Alaina, Lawrence, Russell, Abigail, and Toby.

Sheri Bryant's warm spirit and zest for life will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing her. Her love for her family and friends will forever be remembered, as will the laughter she shared so freely.

A celebration of life will be held for Sheri on Sunday, September 15, at noon at the St Marys Senior Center, 403 W Lasley St, St Marys, KS. Please join us as we remember the life of Sheri and share in food, love, and laughter.
