Steven James Smith

Steve Smith of St Mary's, Kansas formally of North Webster, Indiana passed away July 13, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis.

Steve was stubborn as the day is long, passionate, humorous, possessed an infectious laugh, and was a fierce defender of his faith.

In his later years though, his body refused to work with him, Steve found ways around that due to his sheer will and determination. He enjoyed creating gourmet meals, tending to his aquarium, his extensive collection of cameras and took great solace in listening to his classical music and classical movies.

Steve leaves behind his father and mother, Greg and Laurie Smith, brother's, Andrew (Carol) Smith and Jeffrey (Tracy) Smith, sisters, Teri Smith, Lori Smith, Tami (Paul) Pavel and Amy (Gerry) Miller. He had 16 Niece's and Nephew's, 20 Great Niece's and Nephew's. Titus Funeral Home in North Webster is handling arrangements, and a Private Burial will take place on 7/27/2024 at Mock Cemetery in North Webster, IN with Fr. Jonathan Norton.
