Steven “Steve” Schwant

November 5, 1988 — December 23, 2021

Steven Schwant born November 5, 1988 died December 23, 2021.

Steve Schwant was born in Manhattan Kansas, on November 5, 1988, the son of Marlin Schwant and Connie Smith.

He graduated from Frankfort High, Frankfort Kansas in 2007. After which he worked as a truck driver and welder for companies in the local area before beginning work at The Onyx Collection in Belvue, which afforded him a strong community of men, who shared his devotion towards Faith, family, and work.

Steve enjoyed spending time with his family and children, who always loved to tag along with dad and learn new skills. Some of our favorite memories were times spent building our home, fishing, grilling, four wheeling, exploring the woods and the many projects accomplished in improving the property. He will be remembered by all for his generosity and willingness to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, as well as his dedication to go above and beyond in his work.

He is preceded in death by his father Marlin Schwant and sister Karla Barnes. Steve leaves behind his wife Catherine and his four children Tristan, Lauren, Daniel, and Natalia, his loving mother Connie Smith and three siblings Jeff, Brad, Stacy and their families.

He will be sorely missed by all and will forever be in our hearts and prayers. We ask for prayers for his family and the repose of his soul. May the Blessed Virgin Mary implore her Son to bring his soul into the happiness of eternal life. We love you Steve and miss you dearly, may you rest in peace.

Ad Nos, triumphans, exules
Regina, verte, lumina
Coeli ut beatam, patriam
Te consequamur, auspice.

O Queen triumphant, turn thine eyes
On us exiled from heaven and thee,
With thee, to help us, may we reach
The happiness of home in heaven.
