Virginia Mae Bryan, 69, passed away Monday, February 25, 2013 at Brainerd, MN. She was born September 24, 1943 at Arkansas City, the daughter of John and Virginia Irene House Day. She grew up in Lubbock, TX. Mrs. Bryan attended Drones Business College in Lubbock and had lived in Texas before moving to St. Marys. She was a member of Assumption Chapel. Mrs. Bryan was preceded in death by her parents, John Henry Day and Virginia Irene House Day; a sister, Johnnie Jo Day Powell; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild. On June 22, 1957 she was united in marriage to Paul W. Bryan. He survives of the home. Other survivors include her children, Carol Ann Bingham, John Mark Bryan, James Paul Bryan, Thomas Howard Bryan, Andrew William Bryan, Michael Timothy Bryan, Mary Catherine Peterson, David Christopher Bryan, Joseph Donald Bryan, Robert Marcel Bryan, Margaret Mary Bryan , Virginia Marie Enockson, Matthew Gregory Bryan, and Clare Adeline Ruegemer; 48 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her niece Gaea Powell and nephew Tao Powell. Requiem mass will be at 7:15 A.M. Monday, March 4, 2013 at Assumption Chapel in St. Marys. Interment will be in Our Lady of Peace Cemetery, St. Marys. Mrs. Bryan will lie in state from 2:00 until 5:00 P.M. Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Piper Funeral Home. A rosary will be recited at 5:50 P.M.
